Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trace Place iOS app and website at traceplace.app ("Services"). By downloading or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Trace Place on behalf of a child, you agree to these Terms on that child's behalf.

Use of the Services

Trace Place is intended for personal, non-commercial, family use. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the app.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell any content from the Services.

Children & Parental Consent

Trace Place is designed for use by children under parental supervision. If your child is using the app, you as the parent or guardian are responsible for overseeing their use of the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent — see our Privacy Policy for full details.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Some features may require a one-time purchase or subscription processed through Apple's App Store. All billing is handled by Apple under their terms and policies. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy.

We recommend enabling parental controls on your child's device to prevent unintended purchases.

Intellectual Property

All content within Trace Place — including the app design, artwork, letter and number graphics, coloring pages, sound effects, and copy — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data. By using the Services, you agree to our data practices as described there. We take children's privacy especially seriously and do not serve ads or sell user data.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any specific educational outcome. Educational progress depends on many factors beyond the app.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trace Place and its developers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to the Services & Terms

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App Store update notes or in-app notices. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Texas, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
